Questions
1. Do you think the name should be "pretty polish" "pretty paint" "pretty pattern" or anything else?
2. What kind of stores/ places would you see this product in?
3. If the pattern could be applied to nails would it repeat or should the person be allowed to have more freedom? (have the ability to skew, warp, change it)
I like having pattern in the name, but I don't think I like "Pretty Pattern." Maybe "Pattern Polish" or "Pattern Paint?" I bet if something like this was possible you could make pattern paint for walls too. Which would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI think the user should have freedom to alter the patterns in some way
ReplyDeleteI also would imagine finding a product like this in an Urban Outfitters or a store like that
thanks guys :) and I do think the word Pattern should be in the name someplace.
ReplyDelete1. Do you think the name should be "pretty polish" "pretty paint" "pretty pattern" or anything else?
ReplyDeleteWhy is "Pretty" in the title at all What is the function of nail polish? I Liked it as a kid, but never could understand why it's nessisary.
2. What kind of stores/ places would you see this product in?
Target
Patina
Walgreens
3. If the pattern could be applied to nails would it repeat or should the person be allowed to have more freedom? (have the ability to skew, warp, change it)
TOTALLY - that's what makes it a boutique shop. The Patten aspect needs to be sold in the name! How about marketing it like Shrinky dinks were for t-shirts??/
I love your logo, very PRETTY and sophisticated.
ReplyDelete1. I like the name Pretty Polish, I think it could use one more P word. To add on to Jill's thought- maybe it could be named Pretty Pattern Paint, or Pretty Pattern Polish.
2. I could see this product in smaller specialty stores like Patina, Karma, Garden of Eden, etc. places people shop to find special, out of the ordinary products.
3. I think no matter what people will find a way to alter the product and make it their own.
1. Do you think the name should be "pretty polish" "pretty paint" "pretty pattern" or anything else?
ReplyDeleteI don't think I like the use of "pretty". Like, Pattern Polish would get the point across with less fluff and be more concise.
2. What kind of stores/ places would you see this product in?
I think I could see this at places like Ulta and Sephora, some of the more specialized cosmetic stores. It could also do well marketed towards younger women, at places like Claire's.
3. If the pattern could be applied to nails would it repeat or should the person be allowed to have more freedom? (have the ability to skew, warp, change it)
I think it should be able to do all of the above, if possible. Like, maybe one side of the brush could apply one repetition of the pattern, and the other side could skew it the way you want. So, you add more pattern or less pattern, and skew all that the way you wanted it.
1) I would agree in using the word "pattern" instead of pretty. I thought of going off "Pick your pattern!" Each polish has a different pattern and I think that is very interesting and gives the idea to the consumer that they have the choice to pick which pattern/color they would like. Pink is just overused, and reminds me of Victoria Secret.
ReplyDelete2) I see this nail polish at small cute boutique shops, and also in salons and spas.
3) I am not sure if I would put the patterns on my nails, i like the basic colors better. But i think the packaging should express the originality and different patterns.
